Are polynucleotides dermal fillers?

NO, dermal fillers add volume to the skin whereas polynucleotides is a stimulates regeneration.

Are polynucleotides skin boosters?

NO, the key ingredients in skin boosters is usually hyaluronic acid and amino acids. These work to add volume, hydration and a filling effect. However, they do not have a regeneration action and therefore results are limited to a few months.

With polynucleotides, the active ingredient is purified PDRN. This works to boost fibroblast production, induces tissue repair processes, reduces inflammatory process, regulates melanogenesis, promotes hydration, promote myofibroblasts.

It won’t give you the ‘instant volume’ that dermal fillers create, but it WILL give you a natural result through regeneration of the actual tissues.

How many treatments will I need?

One treatment will certainly benefit your skin, but we do recommend a course of at least 3 spaced 3-4 weeks apart for maximum improvements.

When will I see results?

This is not immediate, and patience is key as you will see some improvements around 7-10 days with maximum benefit at around week 3.  This is when the second session is advised by doing so, we maintain continued, active stimulation of fibroblast production maximising long term results.

How long do polynucleotides last?

Any downtime?

You will have visible small blebs on the skin for a few hours after treatment.  These will likely have dispersed by the next day and you can go about your normal routine.  Some may continue for a maximum of 3 days although rare and some minor bruising is possible.
