What is mesotherapy?

Mesotherapy is considered an alternative to Botox and fillers. It’s a technique that originated in France and involves injections with very fine needles to deliver very small doses of vitamins, minerals and amino acids and cocktails into the mesodermal (middle) layer of the skin. 

It stimulates cell repair and makes a miraculous impact on the way the skin both looks and feels.

This infusion of wonderful ingredients nourishes and rejuvenates, lifts and firms the skin while also stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, both essential for skin’s natural elasticity. It can also reduce eye bags.  This is performed using a very small needle and is not a particularly uncomfortable process.  These injections do not go into the skin as deep as filler or Botox.

What does it treat?

It can help to address a huge range of concerns from improving dull skin, lines, wrinkles and saggy skin to addressing acne scarring, stretch marks and cellulite plus helping skin to appear tighter and plumper.  Just look at the photos, they speak for themselves.

What results will I get?

All the treatments at Cheshire Skin and Laser Clinic are bespoke to suit client needs. Some changes may be noticed after 1st treatment; however, this will depend on your skin concern and the level of correction needed. A course of 3 treatment is usually recommended to get the best results.

Duration of results

6-12 months depending on the concern treated and the number of mesotherapy sessions. 

How long does it take?

Mesotherapy typically takes approximately thirty minutes to 1 hour and it’s usually recommended to do a course of sessions for optimum results
